Carrie oversees the seamless functioning of the General Education and QRD Faculty Committees. She takes pride in honing processes and policies in the interest of optimally serving both students and faculty. As the primary advising resource for the Gen Ed, QRD, and divisional distribution requirements, she liaises with various teams across the College to ensure that students are well supported in making the most out of their liberal arts education. She is also a longtime Pre-Concentration Academic Advisor to first-year students.
Carrie holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College and a master’s degree in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Carrie has had a wide-ranging career in higher education and has worked extensively with both high school and college students in various capacities as a mentor and advisor. She has experience in project management, communications, and program management, and was involved in highly selective college admissions for nearly a decade. In her spare time, she can be found enjoying the Cambridge playground scene with her energetic twin boys, running, or cooking a new recipe from her latest farmers market haul.
