Marcy furthers the College mission by ensuring the Program in General Education and OUE’s Academic Programs & Policies teams have the tools needed to execute their programs for our undergraduates, faculty, teaching fellows, and staff. She works with partners throughout the university to keep our people, spaces, technology, and, of course, finances, focused on achieving our goals. Her career at Harvard has spanned Central Administration, libraries, residential life, and undergraduate education. She has served on the Committee on the Concerns of Women at Harvard, Board of First-Year Advisors, Harvard College Policy Committee, and as a Marshal’s Aid for Commencement. Marcy holds a B.S. in Organizational Communication, Learning Systems, and Design from Ithaca College.
Born and raised in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, Marcy spent years living in Ithaca, NY; Syracuse, NY; and Glendale, CA. She now tends her garden of perennial edibles and plans family international trips behind a showy pink dogwood tree in East Arlington.
